I have often thought about the usefulness of a blog. To explore the usefulness of a blog we have to understand what it is. What is a blog? Perhaps more importantly; what is the purpose of a blog?

A blog is defined as a frequently updated web page used for commentary, information and communication. When reading a blog we will do well to keep these things in mind. Who's commentary am I reading? Why is it important? What is the goal of the particular post? I will aim to keep some of these questions in mind as I attempt to write articles and update the church website on a frequent basis. How frequent you ask? Well frequency can only be measured over time. So let us see with the passage of time if there is enough purposeful commentary to be given. It would be completely useless to read a blog without understand the subject matter of the particular blog. So we need to explore the range of topics, themes or subjects we would like to read about. I would also need to be sufficiently motivated to write on the particular subject. Your prayers and encouragements would be appreciated in this regard.
